Know the current public release before downloading

Version, channel, date, and files come automatically from a published GitHub Release. Work in progress never appears early.

Android

Most people should use the formally signed universal Release APK. Split APKs and the AAB are developer assets, not everyday installers.

Recommended: danggui-android-universal-release.apk

Verify before installing

The channel includes SHA256SUMS and the signing-certificate fingerprint. Do not install unknown or debug-fallback files.

How to read the release status

Stable, with the boundary still visible

The exact version and channel come from the live release manifest above. Detailed changes live only in the matching GitHub Release, so the website does not duplicate a changelog that can go stale.

Stable is the recommended path

It marks the public release recommended for most people; it does not imply that the project controls every device and operating-system behavior.

Download and verify one release

The installer, source archive, and SHA256SUMS must come from the same GitHub Release. Do not mix files across versions.

iOS source is not an installer

Until an App Store, TestFlight, or IPA option exists, iPhone users can only follow the source-build route.

Known limits remain public

Physical-device sound, background delivery, OEM power policies, and sudden power loss stay documented in the full release notes.

Before you begin

  1. Create a .dgbak backup before upgrading important data.
  2. Confirm the current channel matches your risk tolerance.
  3. Never attach real notes, backups, or passwords to a public issue.
