It Sprouts Only Here
Rain falls beyond the circle; the seed tells its secret only to the ground beneath it.
小当归 found a seed on the paper ground. Instead of putting it in an envelope or asking the wind to carry it away, 小当归 rolled over each day to shield it from hurried rain. On the third morning, two leaves appeared, their roots staying quietly below. 小当归 watched for a long time and understood: not everything grows by traveling farther. Some things grow because they are carefully allowed to remain where they belong.
